In the 44 years his Salon has been in business, Richard has remained dedicated to his profession and to three major areas of his business:

Richard began hairdressing in 1948 in his Mom’s basement beauty salon in Woodbridge, NJ. He was the featured artist in two consecutive International Beauty Shows in New York City and had his work on the cover of The Guide Magazine. Richard really knew how to get his name out there and in doing so, had been on over thirty TV talk shows over the years and appeared on the Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show.
His true passion is color formulation and blower styling using a unique technique that continues to amaze his clients. Richard also loves solving hair problems new clients come in to the salon with. Whether it is a color problem or styling issue, he is always thrilled when new clients come in with any hair troubles. Seeing the clients face when the hairstyle they’ve been working towards, finally comes to life… is what Richard lives for.
Richard also is vocally talented and performs throughout the New Jersey/New York area. Hairstylist by day… Singer by night!
