I decided to follow in “My Father’s” footsteps of being a hairstylist. After graduating Beauty School, I worked in my father’s salon until his retirement in 1998. Since then, I have been a stylist at Physical Features.

We all have many different talents when it comes to hair. However, we each have our own specialties and distinctive areas that excite us individually. With regards to myself, I’m passionate about formal styling and up-do’s for weddings and proms. Specializing in hair coloring, long hair layered cuts, short hair and blow-dry styling. I am a very creative stylist and love when clients give me complete freedom to create a new style for them. In addition, my clients describe me as fun, talented and a caring person who listens to them.

Continuing education for me is key. Consequently, I attend many hands-on classes showing the latest methodology and products in cutting and coloring. Staying abreast of the latest trends is what keeps my clients happy and excited to sit in my chair. I hold certifications as a professional colorist for Goldwell, Wella International, Clariol, Loreal and Colorly, to name a few.

One of the things I enjoy about working at Physical Features is that we are very much a “family” – we learn from one another, laugh together and help each other. I believe that when a new client comes to our salon, he/she will sense this atmosphere and be at ease. Our steady clientele too sense this warm and friendly environment and appreciate the quality of our work. They have confidence that we know their needs, likes/dislikes and respect their opinions.
